Brigadoon
Fall Musical 2018
This project was to generate awareness and ticket reservations for the Fall Musical at Grove City College in 2018.
Poster

Since the musical takes place in the highlands of Scotland, I wanted the poster to focus on mountains and plaid. This is what was created. The mountains in the background are actually two overlaid images of the same mountain watercolor image; one image is normal and slightly transparent and the other is flipped upside-down and mostly transparent to create the hazy sky.
Road Sign
120 inches x 60 inches
This design is hung near the side of the road by the theater. Since we can't afford a billboard, we create our own. This draws the attention of anyone driving past the theater and reinforces the branding of the show.
Show Shirt
I design, order, and collect money for show shirts. I would typically use show shirts for our larger productions like musicals. The cast and crew wear them around campus the week of the production to grow awareness.

Brigadoon tells the mysterious and beautiful story about two New Yorkers, Tommy and Jeff, who get lost in the Highlands of Scotland on a hunting trip. Weary and tired, they come across a village that seems to have appeared out of the Highland mist. The whole town is celebrating because there is a wedding in the evening between Charlie and Jean, but Tommy and Jeff also learn about a mysterious miracle that happened to the town hundreds of years earlier. Throughout the course of the day, Jeff finds himself caught up with the flirtatious Meg, while Tommy meets Fiona - the charming and bold sister of the bride. Tommy and Fiona find themselves falling in love out on a hillside while picking heather for the wedding, but will the secret of Brigadoon keep them from being together?

These were distributed to about 3,000 audience members throughout a show's run.

This banner was on the student website where they could reserve tickets underneath the "Events" tab.
Tickets
Tickets would be distributed to audience members to reserve their seats for each production. The different colors on the side of the tickets made it easier for the house manager to sort and organize the tickets.
